Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Technician (M/F) – Viana do Castelo

We are currently looking for a Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Technician for Viana do Castelo. We are looking for candidates with the following profile:

To be close to client installation’s teams all over the world

Tasks:
• Ensure compliance with the Company‘s legal obligations regarding health and safety at work;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the occupational health and safety management system;
• Inform the QHSE manager as well as management about situations that jeopardize the health and safety of workers, especially those that require immediate intervention;
• Advice, guide and promote awareness of all Workers in the implementation of occupational health and safety policies and procedures;
• Work together with Occupational Medicine to ensure the promotion and protection of workers‘ health;
• Evaluate occupational risks of the Company activities, develop and review the safety procedures and risk assessments, taking into account legal obligations, internal requirements and continuous improvement;
• Monitor workers‘ activities to identify risks and define measures to eliminate or minimize them;
• Investigation of occupational incidents and other possible work- related occurrences in the field of occupational safety;
• Plan, perform and document internal Health and Safety audits as defined by the department;
• Support the certification processes and follow up of non- conformities;
• Follow-up of the improvement suggestions process;
• Support Environmental management & Site Waste management;
• Support Installation QHSE trainings – theoretical & practical rescue training;
• Support on-site the installation teams to increase safety awareness and deploy best QHSE practices;

Skills:
• Degree in Environmental Engineering (or related area) or undergraduate with proven experience in the field;
• Health and Safety technician;
• Fluent in English and good level of Portuguese (mandatory);
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools;
• Preferred Quality & Environment Management experience;
• Train the trainer certificate;
• Work experience at least 3 years in a similar role;
• High level of flexibility and geographical mobility to work abroad;
• Able to work at height.

Conditions:
• Gross Salary between 19.000 eur and 22.400 eur;
• Meals Card 211 eur;
• Montly allowances up to 92 eur;
• Anual prize up to 1 salary ;
